Playing in a Multi-Player Slots TournamentPlaying in a slots tournament is a lot like playing a regular slot machine. The important difference, and something you should always bear in mind, is that you are competing against the other players and trying to win more coins than they do. It is also important to remember that a tournament has a time limit that is pretty short — usually about 5 minutes — so you cannot play at a leisurely pace or take breaks during your tournament play.
The Online Slots Tournament Computer Screen FeaturesThe Slots Tournament computer screen displays several features that are unique to multi-player slots tournaments and are not seen in a regular online slot machine. These are the Coins Box, Win Box, Play Time Clock, and Leader Board.
Coins Box
At the beginning of a tournament, all the players are given the same number of coins. For example, all players might start with 5,000 coins. All wagers made during the play of the tournament are deducted from this coin balance. Wins are not added to the coin balance. Therefore, the coin balance only decreases during the tournament play.
If your coin balance reaches zero, or is too low to make the minimum wager, your tournament game play is over.
Win Box
At the beginning of the tournament, the Win Box balance is zero for each player. All wins awarded during the tournament play are added to the Win Box balance. Therefore, the Win Box balance increases during the tournament play.
The player with the largest balance in the Win Box at the end of the tournament is the winner of the multi-player slots tournament.
Play Time
Players are given a certain amount of time to play the tournament, typically about 5 minutes. The Play Time clock counts down the time you have remaining. When the Play Time clock reaches zero, your tournament play is over.
Leader Board
The Leader Board displays information for the players participating in the multi-player slots tournament. The Leader Board contains the following information:
Position: Shows the position of each player during the tournament. At the beginning of the tournament, the Position column is blank. A player's position will move up or down during the tournament play, depending on how he is doing relative to the other players in the tournament.
Alias: Your alias is the name that you use in the tournament. You can choose an alias when you register for your first tournament.
Coins: Shows the number of coins that each player has remaining in his Coins Box.
Win Box: Shows each player's total winnings during the tournament play.
Prize: Shows the amount, in US dollars, that a player has won in the tournament. The prize column remains empty until after the tournament is over and the prizes have been allocated.
